I love the rich cultural aspect that is a large inherent part of a jewish wedding; the traditions, the dancing, the pure joy when everyone joins hands and dances around the bride and groom. From a design perspective, I find chuppahs enticing to design - what better for a designer than to create the perfect frame that holds the ceremony, with flowers, textiles and lighting? After all the jewish weddings we designed in last few years, we started building our own chuppahs - wooden structures in various styles and sizes with fabric drapings that could be completely customized with fabric colors to complement the overall wedding.
